Meet the Rescue Alpacas

Step into the pasture or barn alongside one of our experienced alpaca keepers for an exclusive meeting. You’ll stand eye-to-eye with the rescue alpacas, hear the unique stories behind each animal, and learn the best ways to approach them. A wonderful and educational photo opportunity!
How does it work? To join this activity, you will need a regular admission ticket to the Alpaca Rescue Center. Tickets for this special encounter are available exclusively at the ticket desk on the day of your visit. Be sure to ask about availability upon arrival, as spots are limited!

For our youngest alpaca fans, there is plenty to experience on and around the experience path. Children can entertain themselves for hours with the following activities (included with your admission ticket):
- Go on an adventure with Pleun & Axel: Follow the exciting kids’ scavenger hunt across the grounds and solve all the clues.
- Become a Poop Professor: Take a look inside our interactive alpaca lab.
- The Mini Rescue: Play alpaca rescuer yourself and discover how we help animals in need.
- Let off some steam: Jump on the trampoline and enjoy playing outdoors.
Hot Chocolate with the Rescue Alpacas (December & January)
December – January | All ages | Duration: ± 30 minutes
Come for a cozy winter visit in our festively decorated alpaca Christmas barn! While the alpacas who need extra love and attention calmly roam around you, you can enjoy a delicious mug of hot chocolate. Meanwhile, our keepers will share heartwarming stories about the animals’ backgrounds and how we care for them during the winter.
How does it work? You can inquire about availability at the ticket desk on the day of your visit (in addition to your regular admission ticket), or reserve your combination tickets online in advance (including admission) to guarantee your spot.
