Animal podcast: Interview with Mara Houmes – Vlaander, owner of the Alpaca Rescue Centrum Nederland

In this episode, I speak to Mara Houmes – Vlaander, the driving force behind the Alpaca Rescue Centre Netherlands. She runs this sanctuary in Aagtekerke, Zeeland, with heart and soul. Amidst her own herd, Mara always makes room for alpacas in need. With endless patience and love, she manages to resocialise even the most traumatised animals. This is therefore much more than just a sanctuary; it is a genuine new beginning.
