All-round Activity Guide (Ages 17+)

Are you welcoming and comfortable speaking in front of a group? As a guide, you will introduce our visitors to the alpacas during unique activities (such as beach walks and high teas). You will also assist with daily tasks in the barns and at the campsite.

Barn Assistant (Ages 14 to 16)

The perfect, active side job for young animal lovers! Together with the rest of the team, you will ensure clean barns and fresh pastures. You will also help prepare the alpaca feed and support animal care duties.

Volunteer work (Make a difference!)

Our volunteers are the beating heart of the Alpaca Rescue Center. Without their indispensable help and unique talents, we could not provide the alpacas with the intensive care they so desperately need. Would you like to dedicate your time to a great cause within a friendly team?

These are our volunteer roles:

Ticket Desk Assistant (Ages 17+)

You are the welcoming face of our center! You greet our visitors at the Rescue Center ticket desk with a warm smile, answer their questions, and ensure they have a wonderful day among the alpacas.

AlpaCafé Staff (Ages 17+)

Do you enjoy pampering guests? In our cozy AlpaCafé, you will serve visitors delicious cups of coffee, cold juices, or toasties from our clear, easy menu. The café’s profits go directly toward our rescue center!

Alpaca Butler / Animal Caregiver (Ages 16+)

Do you love rolling up your sleeves and working up close with the animals? As an ‘Alpaca Butler’, you take care of daily husbandry: cleaning barns and pastures, preparing specialized alpaca feed, and helping feed the herd.
