Walking with llamas in Zeeland

Year-round | Ages 16+ | Duration: 1–1.75 hours

Discover Zeeland in a unique way during a relaxing walk with your very own llama. These friendly and curious animals love to join you on a hike through nature. Along the way, they like to take their time for a bite of grass, a brief sprint, or a curious exploration of their surroundings.

Of course, there is plenty of opportunity to take photos of you and your walking buddy, and we are happy to help capture a great group photo with all the llamas!

Clothing Advice2026-08-05T12:09:18+02:00

The weather on the Zeeland coast can change quickly and is often cooler and windier than inland. We therefore recommend wearing wind- and waterproof clothing. Additionally, choose high rubber boots or sturdy shoes that are allowed to get wet.

During the walk, the llamas regularly step into the water. Depending on the conditions, the water can reach up to your knees. To be safe, bring a towel and a set of dry clothes, socks, and shoes for afterwards.

  • 👥 Minimum participants: The walk takes place with a minimum of four participants.
  • 🌧️ Weather cancellations: For the safety of both people and animals, a walk may be cancelled in the event of strong winds (from 5 Bft), heavy rainfall, snow, thunderstorms, hail, extreme heat, or exceptional crowds in the area. If this happens, we will inform you by 8:00 PM the evening before via email or phone. (Please note: when we call, we use an anonymous number).
