Would you like to see for yourself how we provide a safe and loving home for alpacas in need? Walk at your own pace along the pastures between the alpacas and llamas. Experience how relaxed and curious these animals are!
By walking quietly, you will discover the animals at their best: calm and super curious! Keep your eyes open for frolicking geldings, alert mares with their playful crias (cubs), and our seniors peacefully chewing their cud in the grass.
What is there to discover?
You will learn a lot about these special camelids through interactive information boards and videos. Hear the background stories of our rescue alpacas and discover what it takes to provide their daily care.

- ‘Poop Lab’: a surprisingly fun laboratory
- Wool trailer: discover the extraordinary properties of alpaca wool
The proceeds from entry tickets directly fund the daily care, healthy food, and medical treatments for our rescued animals.

Super fun for young Alpaca Rangers!
There is also plenty of adventure for children along the experience path. Join our alpacas Pleun and Axel on a scavenger hunt and solve all the ranger missions! Kids can also discover what it’s like to be a real alpaca rescuer in the Mini Rescue or get to work as a Poop Professor in the lab.
- Children 0–2 years: Free entry.
- Children 3–11 years: The child ticket includes a cool Alpaca Ranger Pack (with the scavenger hunt and a delicious glass of lemonade!).
Welcome to the AlpaCafé
After your walk, settle down in our cozy AlpaCafé for a delicious cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or fresh juice accompanied by a tasty treat. In our shop, you’ll also find the cutest alpaca souvenirs and the finest warm beanies, throws, socks, and scarves made from genuine alpaca wool—the perfect keepsake to take home!

Because we are primarily a rescue center for animals that need peace and recovery, we kindly ask our visitors to respect the following rules:
- Peace on the farm: No running or shouting. The animals love a quiet environment!
- Safety: Please always keep gates closed and do not climb over fences.
- Feeding: Feeding the animals on your own is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking: Our entire site is strictly non-smoking.
- Accessibility: Due to the natural terrain and layout of the grounds, the sanctuary is unfortunately not accessible for individuals with reduced mobility.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed on the grounds.
“Incredible hospitality and care”
We had a slight setback on the day of our scheduled visit. We even got a call asking if we were okay, as they noticed we hadn’t arrived yet! Upon hearing about our setback, they immediately offered us the chance to join the tour the next day instead. We gratefully accepted and didn’t regret it for a second. Upon arrival, we received friendly and clear explanations, plus a fun interactive assignment/game with a chance to win a prize. The meet & feed, along with the other info, was very educational and super fun. It gives a look behind the scenes and shows everything they do for these animals. Highly recommended for couples and families alike!

From the moment I drove onto the parking lot until we left, I had a smile from ear to ear. What a beautiful place, well maintained, with friendly people and, above all, delightful alpacas! The atmosphere was super relaxed. We searched for a long time for the perfect alpaca outing and are so glad we spent 2.5 hours in the car for this! We will definitely be back.

My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary 🥂🍾 and we took a trip to Alpacas Zeelandia. 🌞 What a welcome, and what lovely people work there! Shanti joined us in the pasture and knew the answer to every question, telling us about the animals (whom she recognizes all by name) with so much enthusiasm. The “bride” even received a super cute hand-crocheted alpaca plushie.. 😍 Please visit and support them with a contribution. 🙏 It’s a wonderful outing!! Truly worth it.. next time we want to do a walk with them. They are so soft and sweet 💕

They pull out all the stops to give neglected or sick animals a good life again. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED day out, weekend getaway, or holiday destination.

“Fantastic summer and winter activities!”
In the summer, we did the Castle Walk with the alpacas from Alpacas Zeelandia. It was awesome! First gathering at the farm, where we learned more about the alpacas and helped bring them to the trailer. We followed the trailer to the woods near Castle Westhove, where we had a lovely walk through the forest and past the castle—complete with photo ops!In December, we participated in their winter Christmas Challenge. Guided by Angela, we walked along the pasture path, fed the alpacas, and listened to their stories. Afterward, we visited the nativity scene right between the alpacas and wrapped up with hot chocolate and waffles. Highly recommended! Plus, knowing ticket proceeds are doubled by animal welfare foundations makes it even better.

The weather was great and the walk along the experience path was so fun. Make sure you bring a phone to scan the QR codes to hear and watch the stories. The people were very friendly, and I fell completely in love with the socks in the shop!
